Extending the Range is the result ofseveral years of collaboration betweenAllmanna Sangen and the Malva Quartet.Our two ensembles are driven bya shared desire to explore new musicand to promote music by femalecomposers. Both aspects are reflectedin this album of music for choir andstring quartet, written by some of themost exciting Swedish and Americancomposers of our time.
